Cause We Can is a locally sourced group of like-minded individuals who, through community support, aim to sustain a culture of rich diversity, environmental stewardship, and social and economic justice for both human and non-human species in the Bruce-Grey area.

We recognize that life has a way of disproportionately impacting vulnerable populations who struggle with health, social, and economic hardship and as such seek to ease the burdens of those directly affected.   

Understanding that community violence, particularly towards women, remains prevalent, we seek to advance self-determinative goals, alongside existing structures, of ALL of our marginalized neighbours…because we can. 

As more and more people find themselves in need and are unable to access crucial social and community support, support they rely on in their everyday lives, we’ve decided to come together and raise much needed funds and awareness for those in need…because we can.

Recognizing the intersectionality that occurs when a society is built on oppressive systems and practices, our goal is to extend assistance to other human-caused dilemmas including but not limited to animal welfare and local ecology issues…because we can.
Through fundraising, workshops, and guest speakers, Cause We Can is looking to support grassroots organizations, charitable foundations, local government, and anyone who through local initiatives, seeks to improve the well-being of under-represented and marginalized voices, our animal friends, and the environment.
